The biographical information of 17,525 persons currently recorded in the database of Austrians deported to Auschwitz (hereinafter: database of prisoners at Auschwitz) is based on the data of the Documentation Centre of Austrian Resistance (DÖW) contained in the database “list of names of the Austrian victims of National Socialism”.
