The protection of your personal data is of central importance to the National Fund of the Republic of Austria for Victims of National Socialism (hereinafter National Fund). Your data is processed exclusively on the basis of the current data protection regulations, in particular the GDPR.

In the following, we would like to inform you about what data we process for which purposes and the rights to which you are entitled in this context:

Our website uses necessary and optional cookies. The optional cookies are used by the National Fund to create usage statistics and to display a map from Google Maps.

We keep usage statistics based on data that your browser automatically sends when you visit our website. These are, in particular, the website from which you reached our website (e.g. the search engine), the pages visited on our website, the duration of the visit, information about the device used for access (type of device, operating system, screen resolution, language, state, type of web browser) and your anonymised IP address. Personal data is not collected. The usage statistics are used exclusively to improve our website and to detect abusive access. The usage data is not passed on to third parties. If you set your browser to send a "do-not-track" request, this statistical data will not be collected.

If you send us an enquiry, your details will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent. Your data will be deleted after the legal retention periods. We would like to point out that data transmission on the internet (e.g. communications via e-mail) can have security vulnerabilities.

According to the data protection regulations, you are generally entitled to the following rights: the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to the processing of personal data concerning you (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR).
